Debt Settlement/Debt Negotiation Five Best Kept Secrets

Every industry has its own little secrets, so does Debt Settlement/Debt Negotiation; the following are some of the industry’s best kept secrets:

1. The word ”Settlement” chases debt settlements away. Never use those words until your creditor or collector uses it themselves, nothing chases away great deals like those two words do.

2. Cease and Desist letters may actually create more harm than good. These letters can sometimes accelerate legal action; do not use them unless it is you last recourse.

3. Hardship letters are your best and most lethal weapon. There is nothing like a great hardship letter to rake in great Settlement deals, they are essential at any stage of the debt negotiation process.

4. Patience. Debt negotiation takes time and patience; do not rush into any deal you cannot afford to satisfy, sometimes waiting your opponent out works like a charm.

5. Always stick to the same story. Never change your story from day one; it will help reach great Settlements on day 150.
